Situation

The strategic landscape has shifted dramatically following 40 Commando's successful sabotage of the NKN destroyer and 2PARA's containment of NDC Quick Reaction Forces. Intelligence gathered from the captured vessel has confirmed our suspicions—Vice President Satoshi has transformed the Besmrtni Vukovi (BV) from an insurgent group into a shadow government with deep infiltration of NDC command structures.

The captured officer from the destroyer, while refusing formal interrogation, inadvertently confirmed a direct chain of command to Satoshi through his evasive responses and knowledge of classified BV operations. This intelligence corroborates previous findings regarding Satoshi's orchestration of President Alexander's assassination and validates concerns about widespread institutional compromise.

Our awareness of the conspiracy prompted an immediate and severe response—artillery strikes demolished FOB Ellis during 40 Commando's resupply, resulting in significant casualties and equipment losses. This attack demonstrates that previous intel on compromised elements within NDC command possess detailed intelligence on our deployments and operational patterns. Initial assessment suggests the attack was coordinated through NDC artillery assets at the behest of Satoshi or Dragomir

The successful interception of two anti-aircraft convoys by 40 Commando and 2PARA has temporarily preserved our air superiority in the region. Equipment seized from these convoys bears Russian manufacturing stamps with serial numbers matching recent shipments diverted from legitimate NDC procurement channels, further confirming external support for Satoshi's coup. Documents recovered indicate plans for establishing an integrated air defence network that would effectively deny Coalition air operations across the island.

The establishment of a new forward operating base on the central island provides a strategic foothold, albeit with reduced capabilities compared to FOB Ellis. Ongoing fortification efforts include hardened defensive positions and logistics to further support our efforts in countering NDC and BV.

The discovery of Colonel Hitoshi Imamura's body at the NDC barracks provides troubling insights into Satoshi's consolidation of power. Imamura's imprisonment—and subsequent death during the assault—strongly suggests a systematic imprisonment of officers and personnel unwilling to comply with the new regime. While no physical intelligence was recovered from Imamura's location, his imprisonment itself serves as compelling evidence of Satoshi's imprisonment of dissenting NDC personnel.

Intelligence assessments derived from previous operations against BV garrison positions have verified significant enemy concentration across southern Narukova's landscape. The region's intricate topography offers BV forces ideal conditions for concealment, organisation development, and strategic planning activities. Critical intelligence gathering operations require targeted raids against identified opportunities throughout the southern area of operations. Forces must be aware when engaging NDC elements, as their allegiance remains uncertain across numerous installations and unit formations, generating a multi-faceted operational environment with substantial force identification complications. Intelligence suggests the foundation and coordination of NDC-BV collaborative efforts emerged primarily from southern territory, though confirmation unknown due to current intelligence limitations.

Commanders intent

Current intent of the following operation is to sabotage and destroy NDC equipment that threatens our ability to operate in the region while gathering intelligence on how deep routed the conspiracy goes within the NDC. Once the situation becomes clearer, our focus will shift to dismantling BV and conspiring NDC personnel, along with the capture of Satoshi and his brother "Drago".
