Situation
Our forces recaptured the radar station to the north and is undergoing repairs. Encampments and ZLF forces were also cleared out and destroyed. Unfortunately the target we were after, Khalid, wasn't at the compound but we did recover intel regarding the location of Khalid, the dirty bomb and Hakim.
Unit commanders have decided to prevent Khalid leaving the region and regrouping in Iran with Hakim, doing so will prevent him from reinforcing ZLF forces in Iran aiding in future planned operations.

Within the green-zone is the majority of the civilian population. ZLF compounds may have little to no civilian presence however there is still likely to be civilians nearby. It is important we keep their opinions of our presence positive else ZLF may gain more of a foothold and members in the region.
Anti Air assets are known to be operating in the South.
Intent & Tasking(s)
Main intent of the operation is to locate and prevent Khalid from leaving Zarmilana with his forces and meeting with Hakim in Iran.
The main tasking is to safely insert and assault the Asadis oil refinery where we believe a tunnel to Khalid's cave is located. Securing the area and searching for the entrance to the tunnel should give us the location of Khalid.
Second tasking is to destroy the Whitewater vehicles spotted near Janur intel suggest is Khalid's convoy vehicles and escorts out of the region for his meeting with Hakim.
Once all intel has been gathered and the location of Khalid's cave is located the tasking is to assault the cave and capture Khalid and destroy any located caches.
