Situation

The security situation in Narukova has evolved significantly following the coordinated attacks on Narukova International Airport and local medical facilities. 40 Commando executed a successful counter-assault on the airport, neutralising the immediate threat and securing the US diplomatic team. The diplomat was safely extracted via Joint Aviation Command assets, marking a crucial tactical victory in what could have become a diplomatic catastrophe for all nations involved.

During the operation, 40 Commando forces eliminated Malik Adebayo, the commanding figure of the Pac Raiders (PR). His death has triggered a dramatic destabilisation within the PR organisation, leading to widespread desertion and surrender attempts. Multiple PR members have been apprehended at various ports attempting to flee Narukova, while others have voluntarily surrendered to local authorities, indicating a significant breakdown in the group's command structure and operational capabilities.

The attack has severely impacted diplomatic relations with the United States. In response to the security breach and the insurgents' successful deployment of their own anti-air defence systems against US personnel, the American delegation has withdrawn from the previously arranged surplus anti-air defence systems transfer agreement with Narukova. This development represents a significant setback for Narukova's military modernisation efforts and highlights the far-reaching consequences of the airport assault.

Concurrent operations at Narukova's medical facilities yielded mixed results. While 40 Commando successfully prevented one hospital raid, the NDC's response to the second facility proved insufficient. Reports confirm that at least one vehicle loaded with medical supplies successfully evaded capture, suggesting that Besmrtni Vukovi (BV) have acquired significant medical resources. This development raises concerns about their ability to sustain operations and treat casualties in future engagements.

The combined outcome of these events presents a complex strategic situation. While the elimination of Malik Adebayo and subsequent destabilisation of the PR represents a significant victory, the loss of the US defence agreement and the successful theft of medical supplies indicate ongoing security challenges. The demonstrated capability of insurgent forces to coordinate sophisticated multi-target operations, combined with their acquisition of medical supplies, suggests they retain significant operational capacity despite the loss of PR leadership and personnel.

Intelligence analysis of captured devices from the airport operation, including mobile phones and a communications terminal, has revealed credible indicators of a potential security threat coinciding with today's presidential rally event. In response to this intelligence, NDC has enhanced security measures around the rally perimeter, establishing checkpoints and snipers. Our forces have been tasked with maintaining coastal security operations and serving as a QRF, prepared to respond to any incidents either at the rally site or elsewhere during the event's duration.

  • Narukova Defence Corps maintains jurisdiction over internal security matters, movement near the border or around NDC installations that hasn't be pre-arranged or pre-planned should be requested through the chain of command for authorisation.
  • Local civilians may be coerced by Besmrtni Vukovi (BV). Exercise caution when gathering intelligence.
  • During the rally (OBJ Kingfish), flyovers and noise should be kept to a minimum.

Current intent for the following operations is to disrupt Pac Raiders (PR) operations while gathering intelligence on Besmrtni Vukovi (BV) capabilities, strategies and leadership to plan effective future operations to remove them from the island and restore stability to Narukova and its trading partners.
