Op Maelstrom 07 - 2025/03/01
Situation
Following Operation Maelstrom 06, the strategic landscape in Narukova has evolved significantly. Intelligence gathered from the successful raids on NDC logistics points and command infrastructure (OBJ Sparrow) has confirmed that Vice President Satoshi's fortified bunker complex is now fully operational. Construction crews completed the reinforced concrete shell ahead of schedule, with power generators, air filtration systems, and comprehensive communications equipment now installed. Multiple sources indicate that Satoshi has been designated as "Kingfish" in BV-NDC communications and was previously located at a military research installation, with protocols established for his imminent transfer to the bunker complex. The facility has been prepared with three months' worth of supplies, medical equipment, and ammunition, suggesting preparations for sustained occupation during conflict. Security protocols explicitly specify only BV-trusted personnel for the facility's protection, with Dragomir personally overseeing these arrangements to ensure his brother's safety.
NDC forces loyal to Satoshi have made considerable advances in eastern Narukova, establishing hardened defensive positions and mobilising reserve units from northern and southern garrisons. Intelligence indicates coordinated reinforcement operations underway, with NDC command prioritising the protection of the southern airfield identified in previous operations (OBJ Blackbird). This airfield represents a crucial strategic asset for NDC's ability to project power across the island. The consolidation of these positions demonstrates Satoshi's evolving strategy from coup orchestration to territorial control, with particular emphasis on maintaining air mobility and logistics capabilities through secured airfields.
UK forces' systematic disruption of southwestern infrastructure has yielded significant results. 40 Commando's targeted operations against bridges, adhoc helipads, supply depots, and transportation have effectively isolated BV and NDC elements in the region. Though enemy garrisons remain positioned throughout the area, their operational capabilities have been severely degraded without reliable resupply routes. These isolated units now face critical shortages of ammunition, fuel, and medical supplies, substantially reducing their ability to mount coordinated counterattacks or deploy quick reaction forces against UK operations. The degradation of their logistics network has created a window of opportunity for focused operations against the southern airfield.
The civilian population has begun to demonstrate increasing resistance to the Satoshi regime, with organised movements of civilians attempting to evacuate BV and compromised NDC controlled territories. Multiple groups have approached UK forces requesting safe passage to secure areas, presenting both humanitarian responsibilities and potential intelligence-gathering opportunities. These civilian movements indicate eroding confidence in Satoshi's leadership and potentially offer valuable human intelligence regarding BV activities and NDC unit dispositions. However, they also present operational complexities for UK forces, requiring resources for screening, protection, and safe evacuation while maintaining security against potential infiltration attempts.

- Refer to the situation report for detailed information on known factions and identification protocols.
- Narukova Defence Corps is currently under going a potential coup, the exact number and locations of friendly or hostile forces are unknown. NDC installations should be avoided, but approached with caution when necessary.
- Local civilians may be coerced by Besmrtni Vukovi (BV). Exercise caution when gathering intelligence.
Commanders intent
Current intent of the following operation is to use previously gathered intelligence to execute raids on the potential command structure of to capture Satoshi and his generals along with exploiting the chaos caused by the previous operation to capture the southern airfield and surrounding areas.
