Situation
The operational tempo in Narukova has significantly intensified following the execution of Operation Maelstrom 07. In a coordinated assault, 40 Commando successfully secured the southern airfield (OBJ Blackbird) with minimal casualties, establishing a crucial forward operating position for subsequent operations. 2PARA conducted a textbook para-drop onto the airfield's runway, swiftly neutralising the NDC garrison within the airfields installations while 40 Commando assisted and secured the perimeter against potential counterattacks. The airfield's capture represents a significant strategic victory, depriving NDC and BV elements of a vital logistics hub while providing UK forces with enhanced mobility and operational reach across southern Narukova.
Intelligence recovered intact directional communication systems at both the southern airfield and the Military Research Installation (OBJ Kingfish). Analysis of the communication logs revealed matching azimuth settings (167.0 degrees from the airfield and 280.0 degrees from the research facility) and identical encryption protocols (KV93-T), enabling signals intelligence teams to triangulate the approximate location of the fortified bunker complex referenced in recovered communications as "Site Alpha." This triangulation, combined with terrain analysis and intelligence from civilian sources, indicates the bunker is situated beneath a significant hillside formation approximately over 2km southeast of the southern airfield.
Through satellite imagery we have identified the bunker's primary access point inside a road tunnel, originally constructed as a civilian transportation route through the hillside, appears to have been repurposed to conceal the bunker's entrance, with significant engineering modifications evident in its eastern section. A secondary entrance, believed to have been utilised during the bunker's construction phase, has been located on the hillside's southern face. However, this approach presents substantial tactical challenges, as it has been heavily fortified with bunkers. Intelligence suggests this secondary entrance may have been permanently sealed following construction completion, making the tunnel approach the most viable option for accessing the bunker.
Signals intelligence and intel from NDC personal assisting with the northern front line indicate substantial NDC-BV force mobilisation from eastern and southern garrison positions toward the bunker complex area. We face a narrow operational window before these NDC-BV elements can establish a comprehensive defensive perimeter around the bunker complex. Should our assault on the bunker encounter significant resistance or delays, all forces should be prepared to rapidly transition to defensive operations, establishing hardened positions at the tunnel entrance.

Success in this operation will significantly degrade the enemy's command and control capabilities while potentially resulting in the capture of high-value targets central to the ongoing coup. Forces must maintain operational flexibility, prepared to transition rapidly from offensive operations to defensive posture should resistance at the bunker exceed expectations or NDC-BV reinforcements arrive in strength.
