Mini Operation - 2024/06/15
Situation
In a region of Takistan, two insurgent groups known to fight over territory have recently put aside some of their differences and come together, one side bringing man power with the other bringing weaponry and vehicles. As a show of their new found partnership they have been actively targeting military bases with overwhelming man power and mortar fire. Intel gathered suggests their new targets to be the Takistan National Army airfield to the North which is currently undergoing renovations and the UK joint airbase to the South. 40 Commando are already in the region at FOB Void on a training exercise. Elements of Joint Aviation Command and 29 Commando are to arrive shortly.
Recent intel and imagery shows insurgent forces garrisoning the towns of Khushab and Shukurkalay. Blockading the eastern roads connecting to the town of Jilavur. The TNA forces at a small outpost in the town of Jilavur have had constant firefights, taken many casualties and have been unable to make any headway due to the heavy garrison of forces and lack of supporting assets in the region.

The town of Shukurkalay was also able to be evacuated before insurgent forces moved in.
The town of Khushab was not able to be evacuated, a civilian population is present although it is believed many have chosen to leave, heading north. Artillery, CAS and explosive use should be limited.
Intent & Tasking(s)
Due to the evolving situation in the region, the intent of the following tasking is to support Takistan National Army by delivering much needed equipment and supplies and pushing back on the newly established insurgent garrisons in the western towns of Khushab and Shukurkalay putting pressure on them to retreat and give up their planned assaults on the airfields.

The first tasking once the planes touch down at Airfield Obsidian is for 40Cdo to convoy from FOB Void to Airfield Obsidian, load up the equipment and supplies for the TNA forces and convoy back to FOB Void with 20Cdo29Cdo. Once 20Cdo29Cdo have left the convoy, divert to delivering the equipment and supplies to the TNA outpost in Feruz Abad.
Second tasking is to clear out enemy forces blockading the two roads west of Jilavur, and then proceed to harass and sabotage as many of the garrisoned positions in the town as possible. Hopefully putting enough pressure on them to pull back and retreat from the region.
