Op Spear 07 - 2024/08/17

Situation

After weeks of fighting ZLF forces in Zarmilana we've made significant progress. Managing to capture the elusive Phantom Maker, relocated Ryder and prevented him from running smuggling operations in the region, located and captured Sadiq and just recently, raided the cave of Khalid who was killed during the raid. ZLF were pushed out of the green-zone and with their two leaders captured and killed their capabilities to operate are diminished. 

One problem remains, Hakim has evaded capture by operating out of Iran however has made the mistake of terrifying intelligence agencies across the globe by being in possession of a small scale dirty bomb. StratCom assets deployed to Zarmilana with their understanding of ZLF tactics and movements are deploying to Iran, to locate an SRR contact who has been tracking the dirty bomb since it arrived in the region Hakim has been operating. 

The last report from the SRR contact mentions that he had located the dirty bombs storage location, an abandoned mine outside the town of Wolak. Along with a schedule on when it will be delivered directly to Hakim at one of his safe houses. We've since lost contact due to unknown reasons.

The coastline has known Anti Air assets along it. There may be more in-land but their focus appears to be on preventing any assets getting in-land and have concentrated their efforts there.

Intent & Tasking(s)

Main intent of the following operation is to prioritise recovery of the dirty bomb to prevent it's use with the secondary intent to capture or destroy Hakim, the leader of ZLF. 

Overview - High Resolution

Once 40Cdo makes landfall and their tasking is to tag and locate the anti air vehicles that rotate around the coastline every 6 hours, do not engage and give away your position, the tasking is to locate them and relay the information to command. We need to secure a safe exfil once the dirty bomb is secured and Hakim is dealt with. 

Second tasking is to meet the SRR contact at the comms equipment setup on the beach to the east. He has the up to date intel on which safehouse the dirty bomb was transported too. Once discovered, the new tasking is to raid the safehouse, secure the dirty bomb and capture or destory or Hakim.
