Op Red Resurgence 08 - 2024/11/09

Situation

During the previous operation, supplies stored at Airfield Pavlovskaya were successfully destroyed and the general of the AFB, Nikolai Zaitsev was captured at the temporary command post in the town of Priozernyy. The chaos of losing their general has sent their forces into disarray, with Viktor Ivanov having his remaining loyal forces retreat to the north and defend the capital and surrounding area. 

Lucas has been pushing Viktor and the remaining AFB military personnel to surrender but his requests have gone unanswered. BLF forces are attempting to push to the capital to finally force them to surrender but have been unable to get a significant force close enough to sustain an attack.

BLF have been interrogating and interviewing previous AFB personnel for information on Viktor's location. Due to their inability to quickly and effectively respond to the intel, 40 Commando should be on standby throughout the operation to raid his location provided by BLF.

Acknowledgements

• Refer to the situation report for detailed information on known factions and identification protocols.
  
• AFB has suffered a significant loss in manpower and assets, officers in the southern region have either surrendered, retreated or joined the BLF. What remains of their manpower is current defending the capital and securing the chokepoint north of Nekrasov.
  
• BLF forces are deploying captured AFB assets into the north. Identify your targets thoroughly and if you have doubts, send it up your chain of command BEFORE engaging.

The intent of the operation is to provide BLF with the support required to recapture their nations capital and provide a rapid response to intel regarding Viktor Ivanov's current location.

• [OBJ Cronus] Soften up and/or clear the checkpoints preventing BLF forces moving
  
• [OBJ Zeus] Clear AFB patrols and adhoc checkpoints in the area ambushing BLF forces
  
• [OBJ Apollo] Assault the capitals main supply/FARP and remaining helicopters

Joint Aviation Command

• [OBJ Cronus] Assist in clearing the checkpoint, intercepting QRF's and engaging FOB's to the north
  
• [OBJ Zeus] Provide ISTAR on AFB forces moving into the treeline and forces moving from the capital to 40 Commandos position
  
• [OBJ Apollo] Prevent the AFB reinforcing the capital as BLF and 40 Commando move in. Prepare for immediate transport of 40 Commando to Viktor Ivanov's location
  

29 Commando Regiment

• [OBJ Cronus] Assist in clearing the checkpoint allowing BLF forces to push forward
  
• [OBJ Zeus] Find nearby depots, vehicles and bunkers that may prevent BLF pushing up to Phase Line 3.
